Autorenporträt
Mary L. Platko (Foresi) was born and raised in Indiana County, Pennsylvania, the daughter of a coal miner. Married to her husband, John, together they have five children. They moved to Perry, Ohio when they married in 1956 and Mary has been deeply involved in the village/township, fire department, post office, the public schools and her church. Mary is a recipient of the "Outstanding Perry Senior Volunteer Award" in 2008, and inducted into the "Lake County Senior Citizen Hall of Fame" in 2017.
