Autorenporträt
Jenny grew up in the English Cotswolds and was encouraged by her father to hold a pencil even before a knife and fork, leading to an enjoyment of drawing on most surfaces, walls, floors and even a rather nice wooden storage chest in his study.  Her love of art came from him and he wisely provided Jenny with an endless supply of paper.   She now lives in Sussex with her husband and a quirky Labrador called Piper, in a house that is usually bursting at the seams with their grown-up children and friends.  She paints from her studio at the bottom of the garden, eternally distracted by birds, wild rabbits, moorhens and a particularly pesky heron. Despite her love of art since childhood, Jenny had no formal training and began her career as an actress, only returning to painting when her own children were at school.   Jenny is the illustrator of 7 books, including Miranda Hart’s book Peggy and Me, and Things my DaddyDoes by Paul Manwaring.
