Marian Rakestraw isn't afraid to try new things. The result is that she has multiple degrees and has worked as everything from a museum director to a financial counselor. She lives in Missouri with her husband, two children, energetic dog, and photogenic cats. She spends her time staring at a blank computer screen, drinking tea, and searching for the perfect cookie. A Little Touch of Magic is her debut novel.
