Autorenporträt
Helen Reardon has a long history in journalism, starting over 25 years ago when she began working for a local weekly newspaper. That's where she learned layout and design. Her talents in this area were recognised early on and she spent over 10 years doing layout and editing, other weekly newspapers throughout New Zealand. She began to pursue her passion for fiction and history 10 years ago, while researching her Scottish family history. This has resulted in a series of 3 novels based on the life and times on the west coast of Scotland, and later life in New Zealand's First Scottish city Dunedin and later in the New Zealand Capital, Wellington. A Long time Dead, reflects the difficult adjustments made by early settlers, and the lives, loves and losses they endured.
