The present work is a reflection of my doctoral thesis entitled: "xv paschal sermons from North Africa in the 5th century. I am therefore publishing the first part devoted to related issues. It is about all this discussion relative to the linguistic problems posed by the fifteen sermons of the Arsenal, to the author of these sermons and to their dating.

A. TSHIJI BAMPENDI MUKOLE é Doutor em Língua e Literatura Latina (1995), na Universidade de Lubumbashi. Actualmente, é Professor Ordinário na referida Universidade. A sua tese de doutoramento levou-o a examinar questões relacionadas com a análise textual, incluindo a crítica textual, e a tradução.
