The Covid-19 pandemic caused a major crisis, paralyzing activities in various fields worldwide. The aim of this study was to understand the Kinshasa population's refusal to be vaccinated against the Covid-19 pandemic, and to propose a managerial strategy capable of gaining acceptance of the vaccine with the aim of eradicating this viral pandemic. The overall declared objective was to contribute to the fight against COVID 19, with the aim of bringing the pandemic to an end. In an attempt to understand general vaccine refusal behaviour, the main research question revolved around the explanatory factors behind the population's refusal of the Covid-19 vaccine in the provincial city of Kinshasa. Based on this question, the hypotheses put forward included the following: the absence of strategic and operational management is not conducive to the implementation of prevention-related activities; the population's resistance to vaccination is directly linked to the occurrence of MAPI; the sidelining of community leaders at various levels has accentuated the population's refusal of vaccines; social networks have had a major impact.
