She is a graduate of Michigan State University, and holds a master's degree in social work from Wayne State University, as well a master's degree in teaching from Oakland University. Sherrhonda is a licensed clinical social worker and certified teacher. She has been a therapist for over 20 years. Sherrhonda's background as a therapist was the catalyst for her interest in writing stories with a Christian worldview that tackle real-life issues that readers can relate to.
