Norma Lewis lives in Grand Haven, Michigan, with a marmalade cat named Scalawag. She wrote hundreds of magazine articles before switching to books in 2005. Now she especially loves writing about goofy animals doing the unexpected, but also enjoys writing about Michigan's amazing and often surprising history. When not working on a new book, she loves road trips around the country, and exploring Great Britain. One of her biggest thrills is watching a child giggling over one of her animal stories.
