This book highlights the nature of forest dependency of the 'Santal' Tribe of West Bengal and its impications to livelihood and rural poverty. Based on a primary survey, this study also examined the determinants of common property resource extractions alongwith the Gender and management dimensions of resource use and conservation.This book would be a useful document for the discipline of Economics, Resources, Environment and sociology.
