Erendiz Atasü is an award-winning author and a retired professor of pharmacognosy. She is the author five novels and 14 collections of stories or essays published in the Turkish language, and she has been honored with various awards. Some of her short stories have been translated to other languages and been published in anthologies across Europe. Her writing is regularly featured in academic research and analysis, and she is considered a consummate figure in Turkish literature.
