Autorenporträt
Mich Mercado was born and raised in Dapitan City, Zamboanga del Norte, but is now based in Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur, in the northern part of Mindanao in the Philippines. She's a graduate of the Bachelor of Science program in tourism management, but she has always been passionate about the arts. When she was in high school, her cousin gave her a copy of "The Little Prince," which sparked her interest in writing. She had a lifelong fascination with romance literature and cinema as a child. Additionally, because she was raised in the Philippines, she has always been familiar with the Filipino-American ideal and has observed others in her community taking a similar route. By incorporating this idea with a beautiful but motivational love story, Mich developed A Million Miles.
