I have voted in every election since turning twenty-one. There were winners and losers in those fifty years, but until Number 45 was elected in November of 2016, I have never felt the despair and anguish for my country that washed over me. The pain roiled in my heart and then demanded to be let out. In the years since 45's election many poems have poured through my heart and out my fingers providing a modicum of solace.

Autorenporträt
Sue Robin is a poet who lives in the hills of Los Angeles watching the hawks soar and the world spin round. She retired from a long, satisfying career as a Marriage Family Therapist in 2012. Retirement has allowed more time to write and murmur with her friends. The love for her family is a constant thrum in the background of all she does.
