John Yeo was born in St. Croix, New Brunswick, next to the Maine border. Being forced to leave school at an early age, he worked at odd jobs while traveling all over North America searching for something he could never find. So eventually he ended up working at a hospital in Vancouver, British Columbia, and while there he got the urge to write and has been doing so ever since. He is now seventy-seven years old and resides in Edmonton, Alberta, where he spends most of his time golfing, reading, and writing novels.
