A Morphological and Semantic analysis of Affixes in English and Wolof is a contrastive analysis of two languages: English as an European language and Wolof as an African language. The aim of this work is to help the learners of these languages to have a perfect understanding on the 4 class parts of speech i.e. noums, verbs, adjectives and adverbs. Indeed, affixation is a part of morphological process which focuses on word structures or word formation. Then, affixes are not added to stems in a random way, their presences bring some changes and their bad uses can kill the value of a discourse.
