The book describes the components of Ngamo polymorphemic compound words and reduplication which categorized into two major types namely; complete and partial reduplication. It also analyses the uses of prefixation and suffixation as formatives and the uses of suppletion, clipping, zero derivation and hypocorism in Ngamo personal names formation. Finally, the book presents appendices of Ngamo onomastics, toponyms on the hills and ground.

Dr. Hassan Usman Gadaka is an indigene of Gadaka town, Fika Local Government, Yobe State - Nigeria. He is presently working as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Hausa, Umar Suleiman College of Education Gashua, Yobe State. He is currently a member of Interim National Executive Committee of the Hausa Studies Association of Nigeria.
