Autorenporträt
Barb Reimer began writing as cathartic work. To distill all her thoughts, worries, ideas on to paper and out of her head. When cobbled together some of them because stories about relationships between women of all ages. She has worked her craft with various organizations including the Alexander Writer's Center, Best Seller Academy and various courses that provided information, exercises and support. She is grateful to them for the impact they have had on her skills and the way she thinks about writing. That and a lot of drafts provided A Mother's Gift , her first novel. She is working on another story about women and their relationships with each other. They too come from Becker, the setting of A Mothers' Gift. Seems the town of Beckerville has more than one set of female relationships that have a story behind them. Barb's blog and other creative efforts can be found at www.barbreimer.ca
