This text is intended to be of value to medical students, but also contains some laboratory management, quality assessment, automation and analytical techniques sections that would be of value to biomedical science students, as well as others who intend to pursue chemical pathology or similar laboratory-related discipline. Chemical pathology knowledge is blended with references to movies and TV series in the final chapter. At the end of each chapter there is a specifically drawn-up poem written by the author, some of these placed second in poetry competitions.
