Climate change affects all economic sectors to some degree, but the agricultural sector is perhaps the most sensitive and vulnerable. Melkassa, which is located in the Central Rift Valley of Ethiopia, is one of the areas where sorghum is widely grown. The localized temporal rainfall and temperature variation during cropping season induces an important challenge to sorghum production and in turn to food security. The effect of rainfall and temperature variability on sorghum yield over long period of time is studied using Multivariate time series analysis that is Vector Auto Regressive. The book is useful for researchers, academicians and students.…mehr
