Gerry Moore is a twice married octogenarian whose second wife died three years ago. He grew up in a farming family in Ireland, in which he suffered serious abuse. He emigrated to England in his teens, and rarely revisited his family thereafter. He has made a life-long study of how to change and improve temperament, character and self-image, and the result is this book.
