Testimonials "Cray may have lost his claw but he gained a powerful perspective on love, compassion and friendship. What a great reminder for kids that, if we have the courage and openness to learn from them, the losses we experience along the way have the power to be our greatest teachers. Thank you G Pa Rhymes!"- Steve Gross; Chief Playmaker, Life is Good Playmakers "Cray's transformation from annoying bully to grateful community member will hopefully inspire children to see the side of those who are bullied... and act on it, whether by giving up their own bullying or standing up for those who are bullied."- Jeannette de Beauvoir; Provincetown author To learn more about the author follow @gparhymes on Facebook and Instagram. Autorenporträt
Break-out indie author, G Pa Rhymes (aka Gary Wakstein) has been writing raps and rhymes for more than 50 years. Until now, just for friends, family and fun. When G Pa's daughter Chelsea's son Esben was born, his son Tyler, soon to be a dad himself, said "You're a rapping, rhyming storyteller with a great imagination and a way with words. You should write some children's books to share with the world." G Pa can't keep his stories to himself any longer! Gary lives on Cape Cod with his longtime partner and in-house editor, Liz. "It's never too late to start something new. Just not that common at age 62!"
