As a rebel, I question societal norms that disadvantage the feminine. I hid who I felt I was to play an acceptable, successful role in society, but I was not happy in my scientific, therapeutic career bound by rules, evidence and logic. Finding and embracing what made me happy revealed a whole new identity and a desire to write about what's possible.
