Lydia Lucas was born and raised in Spanish Harlem. In her early twenties she was on a trajectory to perpetual "hot messiness" when she said "Yes" to God's call. Through much waiting, trusting, growing, stumbling and learning how to get back up again, she has experienced tremendous transformation, for which she takes no credit. Lydia deeply loves Jesus, her family, ministering to women and coffee. She and her husband both work for nonprofit organizations and are actively involved in ministry within their local church. They, along with their children, currently reside New Jersey.
