Phoebe Godfrey, Ph.D., is an associate Professor in Residence of Sociology at the University of Connecticut, in Storrs, CT. She teaches courses on climate change and sustainability and often uses children's books in her classes to illustrate sociological concepts. She is the author of numerous academic articles and co=editor of two books that focus on climate change, sustainability, and intersectionality. She lives in Willimantic, CT, with her wife, Tina, and three cats.
