Autorenporträt
Christine Jones has lived in Northampton all her life. Growing up in the town, she has many fond memories of the area as she witnessed Northampton change and develops through the 1960s. As a freelance writer mainly for local websites, Christine is community driven, and frequently contributes to the Memories of Northampton Past blog, to which she is a key member, where residents are able to share their memories of the area and draw on nostalgia and old practices sometimes forgotten today. Over the years Christine has worked in residential homes for both the elderly and adults with mental illness within the area. Now Christine works part time as a carer and spends the rest of her time contributing to the Memories of Northampton Past website and researching local history.
