With more twists and turns than your average 'cozy', A NOTE BEFORE DYING is another page-turner from the Amazon bestselling author of the Agatha Christie Book Club. With a crush on her next client, Roxy Parker heads to small town Byron Bay to ghostwrite the life story of rock legend Jed Moody. She may be his biggest fan, but the sexy Mick Jagger-lookalike has scores of enemies, so when he is electrocuted on stage, the amateur sleuth can't help looking their way. Was Jed murdered by a jilted lover? His jealous wife? An embittered band member? Or is it the hot newcomer who's caught Roxy's eye, the one with the giant chip and the smart sheepdog? In the newest stand-alone Ghostwriter Mystery, Roxy is back with a sizzling murder and a soft spot for a country boy with big doe eyes. Determined to prove his innocence, she enlists the help of best friend Detective Gilda Maltin. The problem is, Gilda becomes convinced that Roxy has fallen for a cold-blooded killer. This is a fun, fast-paced adventure for those looking for a great read and a modern, laugh-out-loud mystery. NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR: "This book is set in Australia so it contains some adult language and Australian slang."
Autorenporträt
Christina (C.A.) Larmer tried writing a romance at the age of 13 but pretty soon she'd slaughtered the hero and planted it on the heroine. It was the beginning of a beautiful love affair that has now resulted in three crime series, including the Amazon best-selling Agatha Christie Book Club, the Ghostwriter mysteries, the Posthumous Mystery series, and a stand-alone mystery masquerading as a family saga (she's fooling nobody). Born and bred in Papua New Guinea, Christina has lived and worked around the world from New York and Los Angeles to London and Sydney. A journalist, editor, teacher and mentor, she now runs an indie publishing business from the Byron Bay hinterland, on the east coast of Australia, where she lives with her musician husband, two sons, a devilish Blue Heeler and countless koalas and snakes, none of which come close to the villains in her books.
