This book proposes practical, easy and inexpensive methods to synthesise magnetic nanoparticle, useful for industrial purposes and then examines some possible future areas for research on bacterial attachment onto nanosurfaces. This nanofilm fabrication is also required to gain further understanding of the kinetics of deposition of the particles. It is now clearly demonstrated that bacteria in aqueous environments are mainly associated with surfaces and there are various kinds of possible dynamical studies on bacteria while they are adhering to artificial surfaces; they are able to change themselves or drive chemical reactions. In order to optimize attachment of the nanoparticles to the surface of the bacteria thin magnetic nanofilms can be created from the nanoparticles and the attachment of the bacteria to the nanofilm measured using a uniquely powerful noninvasive optical technique (Optical Waveguide Lightmode Spectroscopy, OWLS) to quantify the kinetics and coverage and determine how the liquid medium and other factors influence the process.
