Nrusingh Tarai (1971) was born in Kendrapara, Odisha. From very early days he was drawn towards poetry. His idiom is simple but replete with energy. There is a deep underlying current of humanistic strain in his poetry. His published Odia poetry collections are - Sabda Taranga (2004), Gum Khaye Mati (2015), Andharara Aarapakha (2017) and Aakasare Megha Nahi (2020). He can be contacted at nctarai@gmail.com.
