Simon Hannah is a writer, labour activist and trade unionist living in South London. He is a branch secretary in UNISON and an author of several books, including 'A Party With Socialists In It' (most recent edition 2022), 'Can't Pay, Won't Pay' (2020), 'Radical Lambeth' (2021) and Capitalist China And Socialist Revolution (2023). His writing has been featured in Open Democracy, The Ecologist and Tempest Magazine. 'A Party With Socialists In It' was awarded book of the day by the Guardian. He is one of the organisers of Ecosocialist Conference, a new space for socialist climate activists to get organised.
