Dr. Fakir Mohan Sahoo Ph.D. (Queen's, Canada) is now a Visiting Professor in XIM University, Bhubaneswar, India. He a former Professor and Head of the Centre of Advanced Study in Psychology, Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, India. He was Research Professor, Xavier University. He also enjoys the status of Visiting Professor at IIM, Ranchi, IIT, Bhubaneswar, Central University, Hyderabad and Ravenshaw University, Cuttack. He received Canadian Commonwealth Scholarship and obtained doctoral degree from Queen's University at Kingston, Canada. His other achievements include University Grants Commission's Emeritus Fellowship, Career Award in Humanities and Social Sciences, Indo-Shastri Fellowship offered by Indo-Canadian Institute and Professional Associateship accorded by the East-West Center, Honolulu, the U.S.A. He has completed a large number of national and international research projects. Apart from directing several national and international seminars, he has participated in more than 25 international seminars. He has authored more than 50 books including 17 books in English. As a well-known writer in the State of Odisha, he has received several literacy awards.
