Janice Raymond is the author of Women as Wombs and The Transexual Empire, and co-author of RU486: Misconceptions, Myths and Morals. She is also a contributor to Radically Speaking: Feminism Reclaimed. A leading thinker in feminist ethics, and professor emerita at the University of Massachusetts. From 1994 to 2007, she served as the co-executive director of the Coalition Against Trafficking in Women (CATW), a non-governmental organization in consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council. Her book Not a Choice, Not a Job was published in 2015.,
