Inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR) imaging is being used in many fields like remote sensing, medical imaging, etc. The main objective of ISAR imaging is to obtain specific properties of the target like shape, orientation, speed, scattering properties and so on. It is well known in the radar imaging community that ISAR imaging algorithm does not account for certain inter target interactions. This books helps in understanding the physics behind the phenomena of electromagnetic scattering from multiple targets and multi-target interaction. It also presents an experimental approach to prove the hypothesis of separating different interactions in time using the concept of a physics based time-frequency analysis using wavelets and thereby producing cleaner images of the target under consideration.
