Autorenporträt
James Joyce (1882-1941) was born in Dublin, Ireland, and spent most of his adult life on the European continent. In addition to Dubliners (1914), he published A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man (1916), Exiles (1918), and two milestones of experimental modernist fiction: Ulysses (1922)and Finnegans Wake (1939).
