As a first research project, this dissertation focused on the pragmatic analysis of the travel narrativeUn nègre à Parisby Bernard Binlin Dadié. The aim was to study the various speech acts used by the traveller-narrator Tanhoé Bertin, and to understand how his speech acts function in a travel narrative in general, but in our corpus in particular. This work, which came into being thanks to an actual journey made by the author himself, has enabled us to study the speech acts present in the travel narrative precisely in our corpus. At the end of our work, we asked ourselves about the current issues surrounding travel, migration.
