Consistent observations indicate that Africa and African churches till date are faced with grave challenges arising mainly from lack of effective, committed leaders who place the interest of their people above personal interests. This is due to a negation of the age long principles of the African Ubuntu brotherhood orientation of selfless service. As a way forward, it has been proposed that those who govern would better be driven by the desire to serve, and to serve first. Therefore, the burden of this volume is to offer the servant-leadership solution against the ills of power-abuse, as well as to address the worrisome gap between servant-leadership principles and the actual practice within Africa and African churches. The case study evaluated spirituality and behavior as correlated variables for leader-effectiveness from the follower's viewpoint. It offers a practical easy to adapt check list for servant-leader formation and effectiveness. A Quest for Servant leaders is a desirable recipe for the long awaited Africa's transformation, an inevitable handbook for every leader everywhere and every time.
