Autorenporträt
A CrossFit Level II instructor, author and aspiring amateur exerciser, Marcus Lowther is first an observer, and second, a visual artist. Marcus wants people to perform to their full potential, and fitness with high intensity is the quickest path to that goal. Since high school, Marcus has drawn comics for himself, making light of most situations - life as an analyst, business school, and most recently, fitness. Marcus' writing experience includes published works in scientific conference proceedings, editorials, personal blog posts and short story submissions for NPR and Story District. Although the subject matter of funny fitness cartoons is light, we live in a country where ignoring preventable diseases - obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, is very serious . These comics are a light-hearted entry into the fitness world that can prevent these illnesses and Marcus hopes to spread awareness to kids and adults through CartoonFit Comics.
