Growing up, one of my guardians told me that when I was born, the doctor shaved my hair off and stuck needles in my head in order for me to live. I am the only human being alive with a two-page birth certificate. I was born to a teenage mom in the 1970s with two babies at the age of sixteen. At the time my mom got pregnant with me, she already had a three-month-old baby. I started my street life at the age of fourteen because of my guardian's drug abuse and me having to be a mother to feed my younger siblings.
