Percy Shelley is not only an important icon of the Romantic Period because of his literary command. His reading, which included hundreds of philosophical, literary, and historical texts, granted him the mental resources and understanding to provide his readers with poems that, when considered, studied and understood, become portals where we might see the world around us from the view of elevated forms and idealized societies. His poems are not only beautiful; they contain a depth matched by very few other poets. Professor Brahmbhatt has critically summarized and analyzed selected thirteen poems of Percy Shelley in this book. This work may be useful for all professors, teachers, students, poetry lovers, research scholars and, critics, etc. In addition, the book will also help in the preparation of UGC- NET/SET or SLET Examination for Professorship/Lectureship.
