Groundwater is an essential and vital component of our life support system. The ground water resources are being utilized for drinking, irrigation and industrial purposes. However, due to rapid growth of population, urbanization, industrialization and agriculture activities, ground water resources are under stress. There is growing concern on the deterioration of ground water quality due to geogenic and anthropogenic activities. The natural chemical composition of ground water is influenced predominantly by type & depth of soils and subsurface geological formations through which ground water passes. Ground water quality is also influenced by contribution from the atmosphere and surface water bodies. Quality of ground water is also influenced by anthropogenic factors. This book was carried out to assess the quality of groundwater and vulnerability assessment Asadabad aquifer, and also determine of surface water quality index in Iran. The results of this research are used by engineers and experts to better manage water resources.
Autorenporträt
I was born on August 28, 1985 in Asadabad, Hamedan Province (west Iran), in a farmer's family. I received my BSc in Geology from Payam Noor of University in Hamadan 2008 and I received my MSc in Geochemistry from Kharazmi University in Tehran at 2011. Also, I received my Ph.D in environment from Malayer University in Hamadan 2017.
