Frederick J. Chiaventone, be known for his award-winning title A Road We Do Not Know, is an American novelist, screenwriter, military historian, consultant, commentator, and retired calvary officer. He served in the U.S. Army from 1973 to 1993. Following this time, he earned a master’s degree in film and television production and went on to write several novels, as well as write and produce many documentaries and news programs for the Department of Defense.
