Syd Stewart is a performance poet, actor, and writer who has performed in various cities and on several radio stations and the campuses of many colleges and universities. Featured in the documentary Hughes' Dream Harlem and HBO's Everyday People, she is the founder of the Watts-based Better Youth, Inc., and lives in Los Angeles
