Acharya Yogindranath Sen was the last authentic commentator of Caraka Samhita. The commentary popularly known as Carakopaskara was first published in 1920 AD. Every possible dimension is incorporated to establish the relevance of textual matters for current era. The critical analysis of Carakopaskara commentary from various research angles is made in the present book for proper acquaintance and better understanding of legendary medical treatise Caraka Samhita.

Dr. Asit Panja has obtained his MD (Ayurveda-Samhita) in 2003 and Ph.D (Ayu) in 2008. He has worked in various projects in the field of ayurvedic manuscripts, teaching methodology, research and philosophy. He is the author of 40 articles published in reputed journal and member of The Asiatic Society and others different working groups.
