Candice James is the Poet Laureate Emerita of the City of New Westminster, BC Canada. She is also a visual artist, musician, singer-songwriter and full member of the League of Canadian Poets. Candice also is the founder of Royal City Literary Arts Society, The Fred Cogswell Award For Excellence In Poetry and she is past president of the Federation of British Columbia Writers. She is author of 27 books of poetry.
