Hi, I'm Rebekah, and I'm autistic. After years of research and self-reflection, I decided to seek a professional diagnosis at 28 years old (in 2021), and it changed my life for the better. It gave me a deeper understanding of myself and greater self-acceptance for who I am. When I first came up with the idea for this book, I didn't yet know I was autistic or what stimming was. Years later, when I returned to the project, I realised I had unintentionally written about exactly that!
