Being a part of an International Development organization named "CARE", we tested some innovations to improve the reading skill of tribal children in Mayurbhanj district of Odisha which bore fruitful results later. There are 4 chapters in the book which describe about the strategies undertaken at different levels (Cluster, community and school) to improve the reading level of early grade children in 516 Government primary schools. The book is divided into 4 chapters.The chapters in this book are my own creation and are based on real experience. The contents of this book will be useful to all kind of readers who are associated with tribal education in any part of the world.

Lokesh Prasad Dash, born on 19 Jan,1975 in India, did M. Phil in political science, MBA in Human Resource Management, holds a Diploma in Computer Application as well as in Early language & Literacy. He has 15 years of experience in Development Sector especially in Education. Now he works as a Resource Person with Azim Premji Foundation in India.
