Autorenporträt
Mary Angela Ryburn is an artist and author known for the intricate detail in which she draws and writes. She is known for hiding images within her works that pull the viewer deeper and deeper into the detail. Although her art work is in private collections around the world, her writings have always been published under a pen name due to her very private and reclusive nature. It was not until after all three of her children had reached adulthood that they convinced her to agree to publish under her own name. Beginning with the story book series, 'The World of Quite Contrary', which she wrote and illustrated for them.
