Gill Lewis is a veterinarian and acclaimed children's book author. Her previous books include One White Dolphin and Wild Wings (both Atheneum), both of which have won the Green Earth Book Award. She holds a master's degree in children's book illustration from Anglia Ruskin University, and her books have been translated into seven languages.
