Joan Robinson Hamilton originated from Jamaica, West Indies, and arrived in the United States of America with her family, in 1984. Despite her crossing over many hurdles, Joan remains a strong-willed, Christian woman. Joan loved, and reared her children through deep faith in God. She worked, and studied hard, to achieve much success. From an early age of eleven, Joan has been writing poems, one of which is among her other featured poems in this book. In these other poems, Joan talks of her experience in New York, USA. Read about Joan's out-of-body experience, and you'll conclude that she has a right to serve, and praise God, for all of His goodness toward her! Joan's greatest crises were her two-time encounters with the World Trade Center bomb attacks - February 26, 1993 and, September 11, 2001. Joan does not take life for granted; she gives thanks to God every day, for sparing her life on those ill-fated days. Despite some setbacks, Joan believes in giving back to her community, hence, she remains involved with some of its tasks.
