This study delves into Genesis in search of truth that will establish in the mind of the Bible believer the absolute authority of the Word of God as divine revelation of truth to man. This study is the fruit of the author's prayerful search of the Bible to find the information that will fix in the mind and heart of the serious student of the Bible the infallibility of the scripture as the sure anchor for the soul. It is the need of every human heart to be established in that faith that promises eternal life as the gift of God's grace. The lost man when presented with the prospect of receiving the greatest gift any man can have - the gift of eternal life, is compelled to find in the Bible that sure anchor for his soul. In the quest for such security of the soul, the spirit of man needs to know that the Word of God will pass every test that man can give it. This study bring the principles of science and engineering into play in the quest to find answers to some of the perplexing question on origins in Genesis. It seeks to answer the questions such as how the laws of science come into play in creation and how what we observe in the geologic features of the earth squares with information in Genesis. The author answers for the Bible student questions such as: "Was the flood of Noah's day truly worldwide?" "What really brought on the glaciers?" and "What actually gave us the fossil fuel reserves that power society today?" This study will fortify the Bible believer with information that will enable him to resist the challenges that have been raised by those who seek to undermined the faith of Bible believing Christians. Michael J. Tiry came to know the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at he age of twenty nine while in the midst of a career as an engineer. Michael served in the United States Civil Services as a professional engineer. After 25 years with the civil service, Michael started, owned and operated a private engineering company. While engaged in a career as an engineer, he was a part of a team that founded a local Bible believing church. His deep appreciation for having the assurance of eternal life, his passion for study, and his quest for truth compelled him to search deeply into the Bible with a desire to learn its truth that he might present the riches of God's grace to others. Over the last forty-five years Michael has been involved in itinerant preaching, a church planting ministry, and a teaching and preaching ministry at Berean Bible Church in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. Michael also serves Berean Bible Church has director of the Timothy Institute - a Bible curriculum designed to prepare men for leadership in local churches. Additionally, Mike has been active over a span of twenty-three years in a prison ministry. Michael and Linda, his wife of forty-five years, have raised five daughters.
