Ghosts and weird mourners, horrible teenagers and disgraceful instructors. Haunted prisoners and sea folk taken from the shore. H. Pueyo's evocative writing takes notice that the dead, like memories, are often closer than we think, and the guilty are often ignorant of the damage done and astonished when they themselves suffer. This debut collection offers Pueyo's stories in both English and Portuguese to celebrate the author's heritage.

Autorenporträt
H. Pueyo is an Argentine-Brazilian writer of speculative fiction who occasionally ventures in the realm of comics, translations and other literary genres. Her work is often influenced by her multicultural and multilingual background, her experiences as a child immigrant, and her life-long struggles with trauma, C-PTSD and chronic pain. She currently lives with her husband in Brazil with their ever-growing piles of stories to create, post-quarantine plans, and the fruits they forage from the streets.
