What do actors actually experience when they are acting in theatre? This study is a detailed and provocative examination of this not previously researched question. Using Whitehead, Levinas, Merleau-Ponty and other philosophers, psychologists and phenomenologists, this work gives a fascinating insight into the inner world of the actor. Autorenporträt

Edwin Creely is a highly experienced drama teacher, theatre maker and academic. He has founded a number of community theatre companies in Australia and created over 40 theatre productions. He is currently completing a PhD at Monash University in Melbourne Australia, which concerns the experiences of actors in performance.
